Dr. Sundeep Padwal graduated from McMaster University with an Honours BSc in Life Sciences in 2011. He then attended Aston University in Birmingham, UK to pursue his Optometry degree. During his final year of studies, he completed his Ophthalmology rotations at the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire.

After completing his Optometry degree in 2015, Dr. Padwal worked in South West England for one and a half years. He then returned home and attended the University of Waterloo to complete the International Optometric Bridging Program in 2018.

Dr. Padwal is passionate about patient care and his clinical areas of interest include dry eye and ocular disease. He also enjoys pediatric eye exams. Dr. Padwal is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).

Outside the clinic, Dr. Padwal enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and travelling.

Dr. Pooja Thareja grew up in Mississauga, Ontario and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences in 2011 from McMaster University. After this, Dr. Thareja completed her Optometry degree in 2015 at Aston University in the United Kingdom.

During her clinical training, she completed her Ophthalmology rotations at the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. After graduation, Dr. Thareja worked in South West England for two years before returning home.

In 2019, she completed the International Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo. As part of her clinical training at UW, Dr. Thareja completed her clinical externships at the Halifax Eye Institute and FYI Doctors in Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. She also had the opportunity to work in primary practice in the Greater Sudbury area.

Dr. Thareja loves seeing a wide variety of patients of all ages and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Her clinical area of interest is dry eye disease. In her free time, Dr. Thareja enjoys hiking, cycling and photography.
